Waste Paper - Collected and Recycled
AEL encourage all their staff to recycle all disused paperwork providing them with a variety of recycle bins around site. All paper is collected into small recycle bins and then disposed of into a large bulk container.

Performance in this area ranks equally in importance with the other primary objectives of AEL. Each one of us in the company has a personal responsibility to ensure that we play our part in establishing a safe working environment and in working safely.
Electronic & Computer Waste - Collected and Recycled
AEL are a large consumer of I.T. equipment; in keeping equipment and systems up to date they generate a large amount of waste across the site.
.............................................................................................................................................................................

AEL have reduced this in two ways. The first being, any old computers that can be reused go out to other companies on site or are sent to charity organisations. Secondly any old computer equipment that cannot be reused is disposed of into a large container and is then collected for the correct procedure of disposal.
